WHAT TO EXPECT DURING COVID-19

Our team at Bayview Wildwood Resort is very excited to welcome back guests, friends and family to our Resort.  As guests of Bayview Wildwood your comfort, health and safety are our top priority.  


Given our new reality, our property has implemented new policies and procedures as directed by The Provincial Government and Canadian Public Health Authorities.  As restrictions change we will adjust our activities and services as long we can provide them safely and responsibly.    


We are aware that things may look a little different this upcoming season. It is of utmost importance to us to provide a similar “Bayview Experience” to all our guests while operating under the current set of restrictions and guidelines.  To our return guests, we appreciate your continued support and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back to Sparrow Lake very soon.  To any new guests, we look forward to showing you why so many people have made Bayview Wildwood Resort their Getaway Destination for years.

Our Safe Travels designation confirms our commitment to you so that you can experience "safe travels".

Provincial Covid Measures Level

Effective June 11, 2021 the Province of Ontario including Simcoe Muskoka Region, where Bayview Wildwood Resort is located, has moved into Stage 1 of re-opening within the Ontario Provincial designations.   

Highlighted restrictions are outlined below, but we encourage you to review the full outline of the Provincial guidelines.

Guest Experience

  • All guests will be asked to complete a self assessment prior to check-in.  Should anyone in your group display any symptoms or fever you will be asked to depart Bayview Wildwood Resort and are encouraged to seek medical attention. 

  • Plexiglass shields have been installed at our main reception desk and at other key guest check in areas, and social distancing will be enforced to limit the number of guests at our front reception area

  • We will reduce contact during customer interactions, and will provide paperless transactions at check in and check out

  • Payment via debit or credit card will be encouraged.

  • In place of daily housekeeping, we will offer towel exchange and garbage pickup at scheduled times and upon request.  Additional in-room amenities will be available at the front desk. 

  • Our outdoor patio's are open for seating of up to 4 guests, please call Guest Services to make your reservations.  All meals are also available for take out. 

  • Alcoholic beverages purchased through the Resort can be enjoyed in our licensed areas or in your personal accommodation unit only.

  • Payment via debit, credit, or charge to your guest room is encouraged.

Resort Amenities

  • Outdoor swimming pools are open

  • The Resort is open and available for everyone to enjoy.  We ask that you follow social distancing guidelines

  • Recreational equipment will be sanitized or have self serve sanitation stations available to be used between each use.

  • Guided Nature Trails are open for guests to enjoy while adhering to social distancing guidelines.

  • Muskoka chairs along the waterfront will be placed to allow for social distancing.

  • Fitness area, indoor games room and indoor swimming pool are closed.

  • Evening bonfires will be available if there is no municipal fire ban in place, and guests are asked to adhere to social distancing guidelines

  • We recommend bringing a mask, face covering or other PPE for situations in which you cannot maintain a safe distance from other guests or staff.  

  • Your own supply of hand sanitizer or wipes. 

  • If you do not feel comfortable using our sports equipment, please feel free to bring your own recreation supplies. 

Cancellations

We have adjusted our cancellation policy to allow guests to cancel up to 7 days prior to their arrival date and receive a full refund minus a $25 Administration Fee per unit booked.  We are also allowing guests to move their reservation to a future date at no charge.  For more details regarding our cancellation policy, or any other information, please call us directly at 1-800-461-0243
